Vietnam Golf Packages for Four Players: Plan Your Trip

Vietnam golf packages for four players are ideal for friends, couples travelling together or business colleagues who want to share one 18-hole golf round. Popular destinations include Hanoi, Da Nang–Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Tram and Phu Quoc, with courses such as Sky Lake, Montgomerie Links, Ba Na Hills, Song Be and Hoiana Shores.

A group of four is a particularly practical size for a golf holiday. All four golfers can usually request one flight, share transport costs and enjoy the round together, subject to course confirmation.

For a first group golf holiday, Da Nang–Hoi An is an excellent overall choice because it combines different course styles with convenient hotels and coastal attractions. Hanoi suits golfers seeking scenic courses and cultural experiences, while Ho Chi Minh City works well for short golf trips.

The smartest booking is not necessarily the cheapest one. It is the package that keeps four golfers together, provides suitable tee times and makes every cost clear before departure.

Why Four Players Make an Ideal Golf Travel Group

Travelling as four golfers offers a natural balance between companionship, cost sharing and convenient group organisation.

Unlike a two-player booking, which may be paired with other golfers, a foursome can normally request one complete flight. However, acceptance still depends on the course’s tee-time availability and operating rules.

For four players, a package should clearly confirm the number of golfers, buggy allocation, applicable green fees and the complete transportation arrangement.

Quick Information: Vietnam Golf Packages for Four

What Should a Four-Player Package Include?

A useful group golf package may combine:

• Four confirmed 18-hole golf bookings for the same flight.
• Green fees at the applicable visitor rates.
• Caddie services under the course’s booking conditions.
• Shared golf buggies, with the allocation confirmed.
• Hotel accommodation for four guests if required.
• Airport pickup and return transfers.
• Hotel-to-course transportation.
• Optional golf club rental.
• Group meals, sightseeing or other activities.

Not every package includes all these services. Ask for a written breakdown before making payment.

Four golfers can often share transport expenses, but a foursome does not automatically qualify for a discounted green fee. Any group promotion must be confirmed by the course or booking provider.

Da Nang–Hoi An: Best for a Four-Player Golf Holiday

Da Nang is particularly attractive when all four golfers want to experience more than one course.

Montgomerie Links provides a links-inspired layout with strategic bunkering and a variety of tees. It works well for groups whose handicaps are not identical.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club, designed by Luke Donald, creates a completely different experience in the mountain foothills west of Da Nang.

For experienced golfers, Hoiana Shores offers a premium coastal challenge where wind and course management become important.

A group can stay at one beachfront hotel and visit different courses over several days, reducing the need to move luggage between properties.

Recommended combinations:

• Four newer or recreational golfers: Montgomerie Links with appropriate tees.
• Four mid-handicap golfers: Montgomerie Links and Ba Na Hills.
• Four experienced golfers: Ba Na Hills and Hoiana Shores.
• Three-round holiday: Montgomerie Links, Ba Na Hills and Hoiana Shores.
• Four friends with different abilities: Choose a course where each golfer can play suitable tees.

The best four-player trip does not require everyone to play from the same tee boxes. Each golfer can select a suitable tee subject to course rules.

Hanoi: Scenic Golf for Four Friends

Hanoi is ideal for four golfers who want to combine golf with local culture, food and sightseeing.

Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club offers 36 holes across Sky and Lake courses near the Van Son Lake area.

The two courses have different characteristics. Sky Course offers an attractive option for various playing abilities, while Lake Course is more demanding and may have membership access restrictions.

For a group containing different handicaps, course allocation matters more than choosing the most difficult championship layout.

A four-player flight can request a shared morning tee time and arrange private transportation from a Hanoi hotel.

Best for: Northern Vietnam golf holidays, business travellers and friends combining golf with sightseeing.

Ho Chi Minh City: An Easy Group Golf Day

For visitors based in Ho Chi Minh City, Song Be Golf Resort is worth considering.

Located in the former Binh Duong area, now part of Ho Chi Minh City, Song Be offers 27 holes divided into three nine-hole sections.

A group of four can request one 18-hole flight and enjoy the course together.

This is especially attractive for business colleagues who want to play golf and return to the city on the same day.

The course’s water hazards and different layouts provide enough interest for golfers with varied experience.

Best for: One-day outings, corporate visitors and groups wanting a social round without an overnight resort stay.

Ho Tram: Four-Player Championship Golf Escape

The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram is an appealing choice when all four golfers want a premium championship experience.

Designed by Greg Norman on natural coastal dunes, the course features changes in elevation, seaside scenery and exposure to wind.

It is particularly attractive to experienced golfers who enjoy strategic play.

For a group travelling from Ho Chi Minh City, a two-day, one-night trip may be more comfortable than a rushed same-day return.

Accommodation near Ho Tram also gives the group time for meals and relaxation after golf.

This option is less suitable for golfers who have only a few free hours.

Phu Quoc: Golf and Resort Time for Four

Phu Quoc works well for four friends or two golfing couples travelling together.

Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc is located in the northern part of the island, near the Bai Dai resort area.

The course’s tropical forest environment offers a different experience from coastal links or mountain golf.

A hotel or resort stay can make it easier for golfers and non-golfing companions to enjoy separate activities during the day.

For a relaxed trip, one or two rounds may be more enjoyable than playing golf every morning.

Direct comparison: Da Nang is the strongest option for varied multi-course golf within one region; Hanoi combines golf with sightseeing; Ho Chi Minh City is practical for business golf; Ho Tram suits experienced players seeking championship golf; and Phu Quoc is attractive for a resort-focused holiday.

If four golfers have significantly different handicaps, choosing an accessible course and suitable tees is usually better than selecting the most demanding course purely for its reputation.

Four-Player Golf Costs: Green Fees, Buggies and Transport

A common question is whether booking four golfers offers a better price than booking individually.

Sometimes promotional rates are available, but there is no universal four-player discount.

The most reliable calculation is to start with the confirmed individual rate and multiply it by four, then add any other charges.

 Example Group Green Fees

Illustrative totals calculated from published October 2026 reference rates. They are not confirmed four-player packages and do not include hotels or transport. Song Be’s rate for foreign tourists must be checked.

Do Four Golfers Share Two Buggies?

Several GolfBooking listings describe their packages as Green Fee & Caddie Fee & 1/2 Buggy.

For four golfers, this commonly suggests a shared allocation equivalent to two two-person buggies.

However, the actual arrangements depend on the course and should be confirmed.

Ask whether:

• The four golfers are allocated two shared buggies.
• Each player has caddie service as quoted.
• A private or single-rider buggy incurs a supplement.
• All four golfers can play together in one flight.
• Any course-specific group or weekend surcharges apply.

Do not assume a shared buggy price includes an unlimited number of riders or unrestricted use.

What Vehicle Is Suitable for Four Golf Bags?

Four golfers may bring four large travel bags, suitcases and personal luggage.

A standard four-passenger car is not necessarily large enough to transport all the equipment.

A private van or larger vehicle may be more appropriate, depending on the exact bag sizes.

Before booking, confirm passenger seating, luggage capacity, the number of golf travel bags and whether airport pickup is included.

A group package can save money on shared transportation, but only when the right vehicle is chosen from the beginning.

Does a Group of Four Need One Hotel Room or Two?

Accommodation arrangements depend on the relationship between travellers and their preferences.

Four friends may choose two twin rooms or separate rooms. Two couples may prefer two double rooms.

A resort villa could be an alternative when available, but this is not automatically cheaper.

For a fair comparison, request a quote stating the exact number of rooms, room categories and included breakfasts.

The final group budget should show golf fees, hotel costs, transportation and personal expenses separately.

Sample Four-Player Golf Tour: Da Nang, 3 Days

A short Da Nang golf holiday can work well for four friends who want two different course experiences without changing hotels.

 Three-Day, Two-Round Itinerary

This itinerary is ideal for a group that wants golf and a little time together outside the course.

If the departure flight is too close to the end of the second round, extend the stay or move that round earlier.

For a more challenging itinerary, Hoiana Shores could replace one of the rounds or become a third round on an additional day.

Using the published weekday inbound rates:

This is a calculation of published course packages, not a confirmed golf-tour quotation.

Hotel accommodation, transfers, meals, caddie tips, club rental and additional services are not included.

For international travellers, rates must also be checked against the actual playing dates and eligibility.

What If One Player Cancels?

This is an important difference between a four-player package and an individual booking.

If one golfer cancels, the remaining group becomes a threesome.

Depending on the course’s policy, the total price, buggy arrangement or flight composition may change.

The course may allow the remaining three golfers to play or may pair them with another golfer.

For hotel and transport arrangements, a cancellation may also affect shared costs.

Before paying a deposit, request written cancellation terms for individual players, not only for the whole group.

Book a Four-Player Golf Package With GolfBooking Vietnam

A complete four-player flight is convenient, but it does not mean the preferred tee time will always be available.

Popular weekend morning tee times can fill quickly, especially during peak travel periods. Attractive rates and preferred slots are often booked first.

Book approximately 5–7 days ahead for weekdays and 7–10 days ahead for weekends and public holidays.

For international tours involving several courses, hotels or multiple flights, begin planning several weeks earlier.

Some golf clubs may prioritise members or staying guests. Tournaments and maintenance may also affect tee-time availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can four golfers book one flight together in Vietnam?

Usually, four golfers can request one flight, but the course must confirm the tee time and applicable booking conditions.

2. Do golf packages for four players include two buggies?

Some 18-hole packages include half a shared buggy per golfer. This commonly corresponds to two shared buggies for four people, subject to confirmation.

3. Is a four-player booking cheaper than four separate bookings?

Not necessarily. Group promotions may exist, but discounts depend on the course, date and booking conditions.

4. Which destination is best for four golfers with different handicaps?

Da Nang–Hoi An offers good variety. Montgomerie Links is worth considering when the group needs a course with several appropriate tee options.

5. Can four golfers share one private vehicle?

Yes, if the vehicle has sufficient passenger and luggage capacity. Four golf bags may require a van rather than a standard car.

6. What happens if one golfer cancels?

The remaining booking may become a three-player flight, and prices or buggy arrangements could change. Confirm the course’s cancellation policy in advance.

Final Recommendation

For four international golfers seeking different course styles and an easy-to-organise holiday, Da Nang–Hoi An is an excellent starting point.

Choose Hanoi for northern golf and sightseeing, Ho Chi Minh City for a convenient single-day round, Ho Tram for premium championship golf or Phu Quoc for a relaxed resort getaway.

Whatever the destination, confirm the full four-player flight, buggy arrangements, total group price and cancellation conditions before payment.

Four friends, one flight and a well-chosen course can be the beginning of a memorable Vietnam golf holiday.
