Ba Na Hills Golf Club Green Fee and Club Rental Guide
Ba Na Hills Golf Club green fee and club rental costs can be estimated by combining the confirmed golf package with a separately priced rental set. GolfBooking Vietnam’s reference rates for international visitors are VND 3,500,000 on weekdays and VND 4,000,000 on weekends for 18 holes. A published 2026 rental schedule lists a full set of golf clubs at VND 950,000 for 18 holes, bringing the estimated combined cost to VND 4,450,000–4,950,000 per golfer before other extras.
For travelers visiting Da Nang without personal clubs, understanding the complete cost is essential. Ba Na Hills Golf Club is a mountain championship course designed by Luke Donald, where club selection and distance control matter on elevated fairways and sloping greens. Choosing a suitable rental set is therefore just as important as finding an attractive tee-time price.

How Much Is the Green Fee at Ba Na Hills Golf Club?
Ba Na Hills Golf Club is located in the foothills west of Da Nang, offering a different playing experience from the region’s coastal golf courses.
Its championship layout uses natural elevation changes, forest surroundings and strategically positioned greens.
The cost of playing should be understood as a package rather than assuming the published green fee covers every service.
International Visitor Green Fees
GolfBooking Vietnam’s updated indicative rates for international visitors are VND 3,500,000 per golfer on weekdays and VND 4,000,000 on weekends.
These rates apply as pricing references for an 18-hole round. The final quotation depends on the playing date, booking category, available promotion and confirmed package inclusions.
For a group of four international golfers, the corresponding package totals are VND 14,000,000 on weekdays and VND 16,000,000 on weekends.
Visitors should also confirm whether public holidays or special events have separate pricing.
What Does the Golf Package Include?
GolfBooking’s Ba Na Hills inbound product has previously been displayed with three main components:
- Green fee for 18 holes.
- Caddie fee.
- Half-share golf buggy allowance.
However, the updated prices should be checked against the specific offer before payment.
Club rental is not part of the standard package unless the quotation explicitly says otherwise.
Caddie gratuities, shoe rental, food, beverages and transportation may also be charged separately.
For a broader explanation of visitor pricing, see the Ba Na Hills Golf Club international green-fee guide.
Is a Weekday Round Better Value?
Under the reference rates above, the weekday golf package costs VND 500,000 less per person than the weekend package.
For four players, that difference becomes VND 2,000,000.
If your itinerary is flexible, booking on a weekday may free up funds for club rental or transportation.
However, a cheaper tee time is not necessarily the better choice if it clashes with flight arrivals, business meetings or hotel arrangements.
The most useful comparison is the total trip cost and convenience, not the green fee alone.
How Much Does Golf Club Rental Cost at Ba Na Hills?
Golfers traveling without equipment can rent clubs through the Ba Na Hills Golf Club Pro Shop.
The club’s official website confirms that Titleist and Cobra sets are available for hire and recommends advance booking.
This is particularly useful for international tourists planning one round in Da Nang without paying airline fees to transport a full golf bag.
Full-Set Rental Prices for 9 and 18 Holes
A published 2026 course fee schedule lists full-set rental prices of VND 500,000 for 9 holes and VND 950,000 for 18 holes.
These are useful budgeting references, but they should not be treated as guaranteed charges for every reservation.
GolfBooking can help check the applicable rental fee alongside the selected tee time.
Travelers should also verify whether payment is required in advance or upon arrival.
What Golf Club Brands Are Available?
The official Pro Shop confirms that Titleist and Cobra rental clubs are offered, with different specifications intended to accommodate golfers of varying abilities.
However, it does not guarantee that a particular club model, shaft flex or configuration will be available on every date.
If you need a specific type of equipment, provide your requirements during booking.
For example, a golfer requiring left-handed clubs should not assume the same selection is available as for right-handed players.
Similarly, golfers with unusually short or long club specifications should confirm suitable equipment before leaving personal clubs at home.
Do not assume that sharing a set is permitted.
Some booking providers explicitly state that each golfer must use an individual club set.
This can affect the cost of a group booking when multiple travelers arrive without equipment.
For a group of four, calculate rental requirements based on how many people actually need clubs, rather than treating one rental set as shared group equipment.
If only two people need clubs, request two sets and confirm availability before finalizing the booking.
s Renting Better Than Bringing Your Own Clubs?
Rental is often convenient for travelers playing a single recreational round.
Bringing personal clubs may be preferable when golfers have customized equipment or are planning several rounds across Central Vietnam.
Compare airline sporting-equipment charges, luggage handling, hotel storage and the number of times the clubs will be used.
Course-specific insight: Ba Na Hills features noticeable elevation changes, so familiar club distances and consistent ball striking can be especially useful. Experienced golfers who rely on customized equipment may prefer their own sets, while occasional players can benefit from convenient rentals.
Total Cost of Golf and Club Rental: Practical Examples
The easiest way to understand the cost is to calculate the golf package and rental equipment separately.
For an 18-hole round, use this formula:
Estimated total = Confirmed golf package + Club rental + Any additional services.
Do not add caddie or buggy charges again if the quotation already includes them.
Cost for One International Golfer
A golfer booking on a weekday can use VND 3,500,000 as the reference golf price and VND 950,000 as the published full-set rental reference.
The estimated combined cost is VND 4,450,000.
For a weekend round, the same calculation produces VND 4,950,000.
These totals do not include additional charges such as caddie tips, shoe rental, meals, transport or individual buggy arrangements.
For solo golfers, the buggy policy deserves particular attention. A shared buggy allowance may not automatically cover the full cost of using a cart alone.
Cost for a Group of Four with Different Rental Needs
Consider four international golfers playing on a weekday.
If all four bring their own equipment, the indicative golf package total is VND 14,000,000.
If two golfers need full rental sets, the published rental reference adds VND 1,900,000, bringing the estimated group total to VND 15,900,000 before extras.
If all four need rental sets, the equivalent estimated total becomes VND 17,800,000.
The difference highlights why rental requirements should be confirmed individually.
What Additional Charges Should You Check?
Before paying, verify caddie gratuities, golf shoes, single-cart surcharges and transport.
If you want to practice before the round, check driving-range prices separately.
Equipment rental for the driving range may follow different conditions from rental for the championship course.
Value insight: A golf package with a higher headline price may still be better value if it includes services that another quotation charges separately. Always compare the complete payable amount.
Choosing the Right Rental Clubs for Ba Na Hills
Rental equipment should be selected according to playing ability rather than brand preference alone.
The course has several elevated fairways, sloping lies and demanding approach shots.
Poorly matched clubs can make these conditions more difficult than necessary.
Why Club Specifications Matter on a Mountain Course
Elevation changes affect how golfers judge effective playing distance.
A shot to an elevated green may require different club selection from a shot of similar measured distance on level ground.
Golfers who are unfamiliar with a rented set may also find their carry distances less predictable.
For this reason, it helps to arrive early and spend a little time getting comfortable with the equipment.
The Ba Na Hills Golf Club hole-by-hole review provides further information about the course’s strategic challenges.
What Should You Check When Collecting a Rental Set?
Before leaving the Pro Shop, examine the clubs and confirm they match the reservation.
Check that the set includes the essential clubs needed for your round, that the grips are comfortable and that the equipment is in reasonable condition.
Ask the staff about any rental return requirements or damage policies.
If a club appears unsuitable or damaged, raise the issue before heading to the first tee.
Travelers should also verify the availability of a suitable putter and short-game clubs rather than assuming every set has an identical composition.
Should Beginners Rent Different Clubs from Experienced Golfers?
A beginner may benefit from clubs that are easier to launch and more forgiving on off-center strikes.
An experienced golfer may have stronger preferences for shaft flex, clubhead design and wedge setup.
These are equipment considerations, not guarantees that particular configurations will be available.
Ba Na Hills is a challenging championship venue, so less experienced players should also select an appropriate tee and maintain a comfortable pace.
The objective is to enjoy the course, not to recreate the difficulty of its longest championship setup.
How to Book Green Fees and Rental Clubs Together
Booking both services together reduces the risk of obtaining a tee time but discovering that suitable rental clubs are unavailable.
This is especially important for international visitors with limited time in Da Nang.
Step 1: Confirm Your Playing Details
Start with the date, number of golfers, preferred tee time and whether you want 9 or 18 holes.
Then specify how many golfers need rental clubs.
If relevant, include playing hand, approximate skill level and any important equipment requirements.
Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.
Step 2: Request an Itemized Quotation
Ask GolfBooking Vietnam to confirm the total golf package and club-rental charges separately.
The quotation should make clear whether caddie and buggy services are included.
For groups, verify the quantity of rental sets and whether any individual cart charges apply.
If you are traveling from a hotel or airport, request a separate transportation quotation when needed.
Step 3: Check Club Availability Before Paying
The golf course’s Pro Shop recommends advance booking for rental clubs.
This matters because a confirmed tee time does not automatically guarantee that your preferred equipment is available.
Ensure the booking team has checked both services.
If a particular rental set is essential, do not finalize travel arrangements solely on the assumption that it will be provided.
Step 4: Obtain Written Tee-Time Confirmation
Once the course confirms the arrangement, check the playing date, start time, golfer count and included services.
Confirm whether rental fees will be paid with the golf package or separately at the course.
If your plans change, contact the booking team promptly to check the relevant amendment or cancellation conditions.
Golfers who want a broader reservation walkthrough can consult the Ba Na Hills online tee-time booking guide.
When Should You Make the Reservation?
Checking approximately 5–7 days ahead is a useful starting point for ordinary bookings.
For weekends and public holidays, 7–10 days or more can provide additional flexibility.
Groups requiring multiple rental sets or consecutive tee times should contact the booking team earlier.
These are practical planning recommendations rather than claims that the course is always fully booked.

Recommendation: If you are visiting Da Nang for just one golf round, renting a confirmed set of Titleist or Cobra clubs can be a convenient solution. If you play several rounds or rely on customized equipment, compare rental costs with the cost of bringing your own clubs. In either case, confirm the complete package and equipment availability before making payment.
